Research Triangle Park, N.C., June 14, 2011 - Novella Clinical, Inc., a full service contract research organization, is proud to announce President & CEO Richard Staub is a 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Carolinas winner.
The awards, which celebrate entrepreneurs who transform economies, drive innovation and change communities, were presented at a black-tie gala in Charlotte.
Having joined Novella in 2004 as president and COO, Staub led the acquisition of three companies, raised headcount to over 800 and bolstered revenue from $15.1 million in 2006 to over $100 million in 2010.
“Joining the esteemed list of winners is both an honor and quite humbling,” said Staub. “But this recognition is shared by all of my colleagues at Novella and the great work our clients allow us to perform for them each day.”
Staub and the other regional winners have been invited to compete in the Entrepreneur of the Year National Awards at a gala hosted by Jay Leno. The event will take place in November in Palm Springs, California.
