Research Triangle Park, N.C., July 27, 2011 - Novella Clinical, Inc., a full service contract research organization, today announced Michael (Mike) Boyd, Ph.D., has been named global head of clinical reporting where he has executive oversight for all Biostatistics and SAS programming activities within Novella Clinical. Leading Novella’s existing clinical reporting team, Dr. Boyd has responsibility for Novella’s four U.S. offices as well as operations in the United Kingdom and Russia.
With nearly 30 years biostatistics and clinical trial experience, Dr. Boyd has worked across a variety of therapeutic areas with a recent focus on oncology, cardiovascular and CNS trials. Having served in global roles for the past five years, his geographic experience spans Europe, India and the U.S.
Dr. Boyd joins from INC Research where he served as senior director, global biostatistics and previously held roles of increasing responsibility at PRA International. He earned his Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
